It is true, not every class is right for projects but many teachers are able to integrate components of projects with the majority of students. You might just decide to use blogs as a discussion tool with your history students and not have them work on extended projects at this time. Who knows, little by little, you may find your problem students respond better to projects than other students. Great having you in the class :)
I agree Barry. I have seen Mrs. McFall's students participate in "history rap." I was so impressed that the students were having such a good time and the information was historically correct!
